The History Summit is an initiative organized by the California History-Social Science Project, a K16 collaborative dedicated to increasing student achievement in history-social science through high-quality teacher professional development. One of nine disciplinary networks that make up the California Subject Matter Projects, the CHSSP is housed in departments of history and geography at University of California and California State Universities across the state.
